Project management and CDM services for Essex Housing on a residential and commercial mixed-use development on the site of Shenfield Library, Hutton Road, Brentwood — new homes above a replacement library.
Constraints
- Constrained town-centre site with the library service to be re-provided
- Pre-planning site investigations, including ecological assessment
- Public-sector client reporting and governance from planning through to handover

Project management and CDM from planning through construction to handover, working with Essex Housing and the design team.

Result
The building topped out in March 2024. The scheme was nominated for the Inside Housing Development Awards 2023 (Best Development 0–100 Homes).
